Apparently the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei isn’t the only one who knew the outcome of the recent election in Iran weeks before it occured. It appears that President Obama also knew since he sent a letter in the first part of May looking forward to the opportunity to improve relations between the U.S. and Iran.
No wonder he was so slow to condemn the Iranian demonstrably rigged election (they announced the results of an international vote of some 27 million voters after only 4 hours); and crackdown on demonstrating citizens: he knew an election was coming; he fully expected the present regime to win that election; so he didn’t want to upset that regime.
We among others were writing about his desire for sainthood by working with the present Iranian regime to stop their production of nuclear weapons, and wasn’t very excited about a bunch of citizens demonstating in the streets and messing up
the beatification process.
Well, we know for sure that the President was loathe to wait until after the election in Iran to see who he might be dealing with. Novices with power – what a disaster!
Of course he didn’t really have advance information about the election results, but he does have a history with the group in the United States who knows how to develop more votes for the Democrat Party than there are registered voters.
